**Meet the Pack Parent Meeting – Doors open by 5:15 pm (WHS Main Gym), Meeting begins by 5:45 pm (arrive early to purchase practice & spirit attire/sign documents).

     8/8: Weiss/Vista Ridge Scrimmage - 9am (Var @WHS; JV@WHS; Flex & 9^th @Vista Ridge)

Note: You will receive a season practice calendar at our parents' meeting and it will be posted on our Team App.  Reminder that we will have team practices on the Monday morning of Labor Day.  Practice is normally scheduled from 8:00-10:00 am. 

Once school begins; JV and Varsity will practice during the week from 7:30-10am (no after school sessions except for game commitments).  Flex and our 9^th teams will practice after school from 4:30-5:45 pm on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday’s. Varsity will have film and weight training sessions scheduled on Saturday mornings throughout the season.  A calendar will be shared for specific dates.

Team practice schedules will be given to participants with their acceptance letters indicating what team they have initially been placed on.  This will occur at the conclusion of tryouts on Monday (8/3). Team practice session will be posted online, and shared as soon as our campus professional development is released.  Thank you.  We will send a weekly flyer out on Sundays for the upcoming week.

i.     Work out this summer!  It’s imperative that you come into tryouts in good shape.  We don’t have time to get you in shape the month of August, we are already in competition.

ii.    Stud type of ear rings, jewelry can be worn in practice.  No rings, bracelets, dangly ear rings, watches nor necklaces in practice sessions, scrimmage or games. 

iii.     In our athletic programs, no unnatural hair coloring is allowed during the time you are considered "in season" in our programs.  Example of unnatural colors put in hair are pinks, greens, blues, purples, etc.  August 1, we are in season.  We will always look professional and unified as a team unit, not as an individual.  This will be reflected in all facets of our program by how we dress, and representation of our family as Weiss VB.  Natural hair colors/highlights of blonde, reds, white/grey, browns, black… are fine.    

iv.     Tattoo's IF deemed offensive are expected to be covered at all times while representing Weiss Athletics.

v.      Social Media  Keep it positive.  You never know who is reading your posts.

vi.     Assigned practice and game attire are expected to be accounted for and worn during sessions and events.  You will receive a practice t-shirt order form at the beginning of season ($60/4 practice shirts).  Game uniforms and season team attire will be issued, including player backpacks and warm-ups.  Players are responsible for purchasing their own white Nike kneepads, white over the calf socks (games), black spandex Nike shorts will be worn for games/events.  Practice session can be any brand, no club attire, but must be black.

A BSN Sports Team Store will be set up to purchase Nike tights, socks, spandex, kneepads, etc.  That QR code/online link to the store will be shared in July.  Items will be shipped directly, if you need a refund you will have to initiate that through the vendor, not through the program or school.  Be sure you check the requirements for the company’s return policy.

*The program does purchase addition socks, knee pads and tights for parents to purchase at a reduced retail rate. You can purchase these items at our parent meeting.

Note:  When purchasing shoes, please stay within our school colors of white, black, shades of red/crimson, silver/grey.  Shoestrings need to be white.  Nike is preferred, since we are under contract with Nike on the Varsity competition level.  Also, in the event players are moved up or down during the competition season, then we look continue to look uniform as a team and meet our contractual expectations.  Thank you!
